I am a documentary filmmaker, editor, and producer with experience across development, production, post-production, and distribution. I’ve always been drawn to documentaries because I believe the best work both educates and entertains. At their best, films can shift hearts, minds, and even policy.

I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2018 and moved to Los Angeles to hone my craft with some of the country’s leading independent film teams. After six years immersed in the industry, I returned to my hometown of Chicago to expand my creative network and direct projects of my own.

My experience spans every stage of the creative process, from conducting interviews to finding emotional rhythm in the edit to developing social media release strategies. I’ve collaborated with award-winning teams and developed a strong understanding of the festival and distribution landscape.

Those instincts translate well beyond filmmaking. At my core, I approach every project like a writer: how can complex material be shaped into a clear, compelling story for a specific audience? Whether on screen or off, I’m drawn to work that makes people pay attention.
